After testing plastic cutting boards in our test kitchen we stopped using them all together. Take a close look at the edge of the knife, you can see micro plastic being introduced directly into to the food.

We developed this cutting board to last generations, with proper care. Made from hard maple, a time honored wood species used for cuttingboards, known for its strength, density, and a good choice for knife longevity. Made only exposing side grain for cutting surface, not end grains which can best be compared to straws bound tightly together with the ends left to absorb juices.
